In case anyone cares the new look University competition starts this Wednesday night with just an A grade competition happening. This will no doubt strengthen the comp with teams from UQ, QUT, USQ, ACU, Griffith and UQ Gatton all putting their best side forward each week.

Small competition in 2022 it seems doesn't bode well for the future. In other news it was good to see the QLD Universities side get a win over NSW 34-16.

The University of Queensland Hounds are the kings of Queensland university rugby league for the second year in a row.

The Hounds retained the University Cup with a dominant 32-6 victory over the Queensland University of Technology Trouts at Souths Sports Club last night.
