Been thinking about upgrading my internet (Dial-up atm) and just saw an add on TV for Unwired.

Are these blokes any good?? I'm a student so i have a pretty low budget of around $40 a month. I download alot of little Youtube clips, Songs, etc and i'm thinking of going for the "Break Free" plan.

Third one down.

Is it worth it?? I mean, what do all those numbers mean?? Once i understand this, all i have to do is go to a Dicksmith and buy the modem dont i?? I dead set don't know much about the internet and broadband so i need some advice right now.

Help me out people, it'll be much appreciated...

I have been with unwired for years. I started with Unwired since they first started and I have been quite impressed.

But you are not charged for any extra download, you speed just gets slower which is what 32/32 means.

You can just go out and buy the modem. I think Unwired is one of the easiest to setup. But the outlay at the beginning can be pretty costly, depending on what you get!!!

I'm with Unwired as well and find them pretty good. I don't do any downloading, I do that at work! The only issue I've ever had with them is that the coverage is a little dodgy.
the last place I lived in Glebe was a shocker for reception and it was almost impossible go get a reliable service.
The plus side is that if you move around a fair bit, like me, you don't have to worry about moving your account etc.
