Never mind that.

What the f**k was Chambers thinking a couple of minutes earlier.

Passes the ball to cronk and we win.

It seemed like time slowed down to me on that one. I could see it all unfolding with a Cronk try under the posts.

Can't believe Chambers didn't pass... But I'm sure as hell happy he didn't!

UP UP CRONULLA!

Amazing display from both teams.

Super human effort in defence from Melbourne.
And the Sharks just turned up the intensity and beat us at our own fame.

f**king awesome game to watch.

Congrats Cronulla it is about goddamn time!!!
Try not to riot to much haha!!

Can someone please explain what he meant by this?

Paul Gallen on stage: "To all you people back in the shire, turn your porch lights off because we're coming home with the trophy.'

Further to the other post explaining this. When the great coach and probably one of the best exponents of a one liner the game has seen was asked about the Sharks winning a premiership he famously replied that "waiting for Cronulla to win a premiership was like leaving the porch lamp on for Harrold Holt". This quote was brought up many times over the years.

I still prefer his quote after Parra's 1st premiership, "Ding dong, the witch is dead".

Well deserved win to the fans of Cronulla.

I can't stand Flanagan for what he did to the game and the Sharks, and some of the players to a lesser extent.

But the fans of the club finally have a well deserved Premiership. I know that feeling of breaking a lifetime long drought. Thinking of all the low periods experienced but always sticking solid to your club. And without those lows, the moment where you win it all wouldn't mean so much. It's what makes this moment so special, the tears shed, the feeling of disbelief and joy that will stick with you for weeks. Rewatching every moment of a historic win. Enjoy being Premiers, it's a hell of a feeling!
