It depends on the 1/2 back.
If the hooker or fullback can kick, the 5/8th doesn't have to be a kicker. Kenny was a prime example. Wagon a not so good example.
He would be excellent if we had a deep attacking backline where the centres and wingers ran onto the ball rather than stand flat footed.
Kenny used to set up plays by standing wide off a Sterling pass and jink, swerve get half tackled and unload to zip zip or Grothe.
So if Witt throws a long pass that hit's lyon at speed and he uses his footwork and evasive skills, gets half tackled (or frees his arms) and slip it toa running Mckinnon, Burt or Grothe then that style would really suit him.
However, we'd probably still ruck it up one out.
