I know there's already a Hayne/NFL thread, but this also relates to the concept of other sports now moving games into the Australian market.
Soccer is doing it, baseball did it...will the NFL use Hayne to do it?
OK, they probably don't need to use Hayne...but surely the difference in publicity would be massive, as well as merchandise sales?
So...a BIG club signs Hayne to a punter's contract. They bring out a mediocre team to play against, who they will most likely wallop.
Bring Hayne on in the 4Q, when the game is decided. Hell, mif it's an exhibition then just use him all game.
Would the return be worth the investment of a minimum contract for Hayne? They'd sell out ANZ, but could they also sell out Suncorp? AAMI?
Sorry if this shouldn't be it's own thread. If that's the case, please fold it into the main Hayne/NFL thread.
