USF Bulls Media Statement
May 11 2005
RELEASE OF DAVESTER

Effective immediately, Davester is a free agent and no longer part of the USF Bulls.

The decision to release Davester mid-season was not taken lightly.

At the beginning of the month, the Bulls embarked on an aggressive and highly successful recruitment drive to stock up our dwindling number of players. The drive was crucial to securing the short-term future of the Bulls, who have started the season with a 1-3 record.

Understandably, the new recruits will require some opportunities to show what they are capable of, and contribute to the resurrection of the Bulls in the 2005 season, at the expense of established players.

Although benched for the Round Five game after admitting to 'writers faitigue', Davester felt that he was capable of writing further quality articles which has seen him reach an average mark of 85.6 in the 2005 season. In the short term, with DIEHARD, Jordan and Homer's Bowling Ball all due to make their debuts, the opportunities do not exist.

The Bulls would like to thank Davester for his contribution to the Bulls, including the making of the team banners, and wish him every success in his career in the Forum Sevens, where he would make an outstanding addition to any current side that wishes to sign him.
