North Queensland captain Paul Rauhihi, who has accepted an offer from Warrington, is set to head an exodus of senior players lured to England by big money.
Rauhihi is understood to have agreed to a two-year deal worth more than $1 million with the Super League outfit, which is backed by English rock promoter Simon Moran.
Former Kangaroos prop Richard Villasanti has also been linked to the club but is more likely to go to UTC, the French team joining Super League next season, if the Warriors grant him a release. Warriors halfback Stacey Jones, Canberra forward Ian Hindmarsh and Wests Tigers centre John Wilson have already signed with UTC.
Penrith forward Joe Galuvao may also be released from his contract to play in England. Wigan chief executive Maurice Lindsay, who is in Australia, has met Galuvao but has concerns about his form since he returned from injury. Lindsay has already signed South Sydney skipper Bryan Fletcher.
