Hmm, still nothing. Are they even promoting this festival? nobody seems to know about it...not that that's a bad thing

I can't see it doing particularly well.

There's been practically zero marketing, and it's riding on a headline act that is nowhere near as popular as people might assume, as well a bunch of average electronic acts. Oh, and they want to charge as much as a BDO ticket.

The website has finally changed but it doesn't say when the 2nd announcement will actually be.

Did anyone end up going?

Awful festival - poorly organised, bar queues were awful, food was nearly as bad. Security was too hard core. Just not pleasant.

But it was sooooooooo worth it to see the Pixies...best festival slot. Ever.

It wasn't that bad :roll:

The sound was great for a first time festival. The only dig at it was the over use of fluro by coolsie wannabies :BDH:.
And I missed out on the PSBs.

Highlights were: Phoenix, Jarvis Cocker, Groove Armada and The Pixies. Beck was good, just not as good as I thought he'd be. Still happy I saw his show though.

Not sure which show you were at, but 8 food stalls and 3 bars to cater for 35,000 people is nowhere near enough. Sound was generally excellent agreed - just logistically they were nowhere near prepared.
