Sportsbet have their NRL podcast Get Em Onside, last few weeks they had guests as nothing going on, Brohman, Gould etc but this week they had a Might and Power special with pumper, DEFINITELY worth a listen, was great.

Might and Power one of my all time favs!

Mate thanks for the shout - I had a listen today off the back of your info. Was a great listen, loved JC's stories about Kiwi also. And aside from M&P, what struck me is still how bitter he was about the Jockey Tapes. I could imagine him feeling that way. Not many people have any time for Shane Dye.

That was exactly my first take away too, obviously still very bitter over the whole thing, he was not very subtle at all! haha

My dad worked the barriers back in the day at Rosehill and Canterbury. Shane Dye was easily the most hated out of all the Jockey’s. Absolute knobend.

@Haynetrain have you read the stories about Shamardal as a young horse? Only just learnt of it all since he died. If not have a read of this! Crazy and doesn’t even touch on his post racing career. Great horse

I was at Rosehill in 1998 when M&P won the Mercedes Classic beating Gold Guru and Doremius by the length of the straight and my jaw hit the ground he was that awesome.

Winx is the best horse i've ever seen, but my brain still struggles to see how she would be able to run this beast down when he wasn't running hurt .
