I'v done it with vanilla coke. Obviously doesn't have the bubble sensation but its a unique novelty.

Vanilla coke is the shit. Love the stuff. Buy it from Woolies, Coles, servos, take-aways, Red Rooster, Subway (my local one sells it, and does 2 for $5), and wherever else I can find it.
