Anyone who can scrape a ticket to tonights second show I highly recomend it.

Last night was the most energetic rock show I have been to in my life. I have read that they are a 'live' band and didnt really know what that meant until last night when I now know exactly what it meant.

The horden is a great venue with terrific views from anywhere (especially the second row ;-) )

I had awsome views of Slash carving solos out of the guitar, Duff's bass playing, Dave and matt and Scott Weiland's wierd, almost gay appearnace!

Energy was just great. They were very tight playing wise and put on an awsome show.

The Screaming Jets were the support and they were also very good. Dave Gleeson Gave shit to Dan Tilse before one song and John Howard the next, Philipoo after another and told Shannon Knoll to fug off  He had a few opinions!

BUt he did harp on about being an Aussie and how proud we should be to be an Aussie and to never forget it which got the crowd pretty happy.

All in all an Awsome night and if you can get to tonights show you wont be dissapointed.

Wasn't too bad, doesn't compare with Shihad last Friday.. :p

Is it just me or was the PA/Amps more distorted and harder to hear than usual? I'm not a huge fan but it took me a while to recognize some songs. Some VR diehard mates I have thought the same.

Yeah your right, the one downer I guess was that the mix didnt seem right to me. Scotts vocals needed to be a bit higher as did Slash's guitar when he was soloing. My mate and I were talking about that as well last night.

Still an awsome show though in my opinion.

The best highlight was probably I used to Love her, when they pulled that out it was great.

Pretty Good concert, and yes, Scott's vocals needed to be higher, or everything else turned down.

As a vocalist I don't rate Scott.

As a frontman/entertainer yeah but there are alot going around that have a better voice than him.

He seemed to struggle last night a bit and seemed off key numerous times. Ahh well...

What was the cover they played after the drum solo? I heard the D do it and I've been after the name of the original version for yonks. When I heard it last night I nearly jumped out of my skin.

CC Eagle,

The cover?? Could you refresh my memory a bit, can youdecribe the song/lyrics at all?

Your not talking about some of the old GNR stuff are you? I know when Matt came on first and did some drumming for the one of the encores he started playing the you could be mine intro before the band kicked in to play Mr Brownstone. That was after the drums at one point.

I used to love her was another old gunners song.

I dont know if they are what you are talking about?
