Vella to pump the doubters

I have read from many good folk on here who doubt the ability of Michael Vella.

I expect big things from him this year. My spys have recently seen the big fella working by himself exceptionally hard in the wee hours of the morning doing some killer hill climbs in Parra park.

It would appear the commitment is well and truly there!!

Perhaps he knows he is under some pressure and is attempting to turn a disspointing end of 2003 (EG:Icebergs) into a great 2004. He wouldn't be the first or the last front row foward to turn it all around.

I for one really hopes he shuts a lot of you up!!!

GO THE BIG TRANNY!!!!

Not doubting the ability, as we've all seen what he can do (SOO, Aust rep). Just the ability to put it on the paddock regularly/again...

Let's hope Vella does perform to that level in 2004, but there are many wolves at the door next year ready to take his spot if he doesn't turn up to play.

Guess Vella must be coming off contract this year.
Sorry for being cynical, but it seems sometimes that a few players turn up when their contract is up for renewal, but where is it the consistency the rest of the time?
Anyway whatever the motivation I hope Vella has great season culminating in a grand final win. I don't care what happens after that.

Micky V and Wags are two of my favourite Eels, but even I can see that at certain points of the seasons past they didn't really deserve a starting place.

We all know what Big Micky V can do. And I what to see him do it again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again.

I really think that hopkins deserves to be the starting lock but we know that wont happen.

I'd like to see hopkins at 13, and wags at 12. Smithy should give it a go in the trials at least.

I'd like to see Hopkins at 13 and Wags at 14.

I'd like to see blokes like Wagon and Vella play to their full potential and prove anyone who doubts them wrong.

Why???

You don't get picked to play for Australia or Origin for nothing and if they can re-capture 90% of that form Parramatta will be on the winning side of the ledger a damn sight more than they have been recently.

I doubt whether Vella or Wagon will make as big an impact amongst the new players however if the read this at all - COME AND PROVE ME WRONG and I'LL BUY THE FIRST BEERS ON GRAND FINAL NIGHT!

Yeah, well the lazy lump had better perform, otherwise he will be looking for a contract at Souths, Tigers or Manly soon.

Wags only played SOO because Jason Smith was injured.

He has not and will not play rep footy again, unless he changes his game.

Vella was a geiune rep player that earned his spot, and for some reason cannot recapture that form.
