every week someone makes a thread "vella has been crap for ages but he was great tonight!"

get with the program

Maybe if he put in on a more consistent basis we wouldn't have to.

I just want to acknowledge efforts when I personally have been shitcanning players.

Is that enough to gain everyones respect. Geez he tries hard but gets no where. I gthink Pearson needs to go. Last few weeks has been very very poor.

Scootyeel...I have no doubt that people on the GC want to watch footy but its ppl like your peice of turd CEO who perpetrate these rumours which will never eventuate and you know it. Maybe if Fitzgerald concentrated his efforts on his NRL side rather than indulge his pathetic fantasies of being the 14th Super 12 franchise or trying to run Parramatta power maybe the Eels would be doing alot better than what they are now.

I had my peice and I will leave you with the following...

:-({|= :-({|= :-({|= :-({|= :-({|=

Like him or hate him, Denis Fitz runs one of the most financially successful clubs in the country. Melbourne is nothing more than Rupert Murdoch's little toy, it is New's Limited's bitch. If Murdoch gets bored and stops paying the bills, it will go the way of his other little toys, the Adelaide Rams and Hunter Mariners. Parra, on the other hand will always determine it's own destiny.

Pray that your team keeps winning and Rupert Murdoch doesn't find himself a new toy to play with.

No...it shows of what he was once capable of. If he can put that in for the rest of the year and finish off strongly he will have my respect back.

Consistency is the key here!!

Les, you really shouldn't drink that water from the Yarra.

Back on topic a great game by Mick Vella and just shows what he can do

everytime I give him credit he rubs in my face by playing like a girl, Then again if I bag him contiously he will play good. I believe vella will be a bench player next year yesterday was a good indication of that.

Ive always liked Vella off the benhc. As a starting player he doesnt match the athleticism or size that props in ither teams have.

Belly,

I still think Vella could hit the line harder in attack. His work rate has improved, but he still lacks consistent agression. (except for 1 tackle)

Yeh consistant agression is his main problem. Similar to Wagon. In the Manly game he pulled off a big hit but we dont see many these days. :(
