The year 10 student from Craigieburn stands 180cm, weighs more than 90kg and has starred for the club's under-18 team, which begins its SG Ball Cup finals campaign with a sudden-death clash against Penrith in Sydney on Saturday.
Kennar has made the leap from suburban rugby league to playing against the best young talent in NSW and his abilities have excited Storm.
He is one of 11 Victorians in the 17-man team that compiled a 7-2 win-loss record this season and coach Kim Williams predicted Kennar could go on to big things.
It's great to see Victorian players being developed. Hopefully we see them in the NRL in the next few years.
