The Vella boing was a bit over the top. However, The Storm, despite their small crowds, do get passionate and vocal. The atmosphere on telly was very electric in the second half.

I gave it to him coz he invoked a clause to get out of his contract (which runs until the end of 2005) so he could go.

In a radio interview down here he said "both clubs offered me the same time period (4 years) and around the same money, but the knights have offered me more in the way of off field benefits"

i wish that it was possible for every one of those annoying Storm fans to look me in the eye personally and apologize for calling me a raving lunatic while i was screaming at the ref for putting Vella on report for that stupid accidental incident.

The dumbest thing was that after that the crowd then went to boo Vella every time he hit the ball up and because they are such an educated lot, they kept booing Corey Pearson as well. Couldn't tell them apart... Ever heard of numbers on the back of a jersey???
