The place erupted when Vinnie put that one in, worth the admission money alone. Tickle did well to live through it.

Ah the feeling of being back in England after a trip to see Guns n' Roses rock New York City and strolling off the plane to see Saints murderise Wigan. I thought it was a fantastic match, Wigan stepped up and were spirited but Saints, lead by the magnificent Sean Long were always in control. For all the build up about Dobson I thought he was average, another Paul Deacon kicking machine with no creativity, Long handed him the textbook tonight with the key chapters highlighted.

Outstanding match. God I've missed the rugby in my time in the Big Apple.

It was on a par with Guttenbeils hit - yet people still cream their Keks over that chellenge and you can find it on a number of sites - including Youtube and Google Video.

I'd compare it to more like Alfie Langer on his return to Origin after playing in England to be honest.

Axl is now 44 years old. Sure he is not the 20 odd year old angry LA kid anymore, but he still has the authority and stage presence he had. You can't help but look at him and be inspired.

I saw them twice, on the 12th for the big comeback, which was absolutely amazing. His voice was brilliant and he and the band were fantastic, the most passionate show I have ever been to. I saw them again on the 17th and he was a little croaky but still a very good show. Seeing Izzy back on stage with Axl was quite an experience too.

The new band is obviously not going to be the same as it was in the Appetite for Destruction or UYI days (Age more of a factor than the personnel), but the new band can still put on one hell of a good show. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great hit by Anderson...absolutely smashed him...But if I was him I would of drove the shoulder into Tickle when he was on the turf, and finished the tackle off. THEN Shouted at him.

How do you know that? I've been trying to lip-read it for ages but I can't.

Thought it was a case of mistaken identity, because Hock pushed Anderson off the ball in the previous set (when Anderson was about to be put through) and Vinnie turned around, saw Tickle and assumed that he did it. :?
