They haven't opened up for the 2006 season as yet but if you register your interest in it, they will email you when it does open up.

That sportal one sucks. Half the fun was drafting your players in VNRL. Not having 10 Matty Bowens playing for seperate teams...

Yeah bloody oath.

The only way me and my mates could survive was to make our own competition. We did it all on our own forum last year and it worked absolutely brilliantly, had no problems with forward tries or anything because you could use the NRL.com stats without anyone being the wiser.

I recommend rounding up 11 of your mates who are keen on footy, and setting one up yourself - best thing we ever did.
