Beale replaces Nightingale and Eastwood for JWH. Both straight swaps for injury.

Bit surprised DWZ wasn't given another go. A more physical player than Beale.

Beale over DWZ is a mystery.

Australia resting Cronk seems a bit of arrogance.

Would have preferred Fusitua there to be honest.
I don't like having Lewis Brown there as cover for Luke. Surely Luke can play 70 minutes? If that's the case, have a big bopper like Tapine come on for Luke 5min from half time, put TL into dummy half (defending at 6 still) and in attack just get the forwards running rampant. 5 or 10 after half time Luke comes on against a tiring defence....

Brown must be there for backline cover not just hooker. He will go into the centers if needed. Beale huh. Hmmm, that's a dud selection.

Yeah dudd alright. Honestly can't remember him doing anything of note ever. Solid at best.

But yeah if that's the case regarding Brown, it's weak imo. Negative tactic, cover incase someone goes down...
If we had Fusitua on the wing he covers the back line and Harris into halves (not ideal by any stretch) or even centre of needed. Waste of a spot having Brown there imo

Dunno what the guts is over Beales selection. Surely Fusitua would be more likely to sniff a try out with his agility. Are they worried about defensive liability?

Beale was reserve in the NRL most of the season, so buggered if I know why he is even touring, let alone playing. Give me the Fus any day.

Beale has played in the games where we managed to become No.1 internationally. I think Fusitua, like the other new caps will get to play in the Scotland game

Beale played in one of the games where we managed to become #1 (the first match of the 2014 4 nations), as a late replacement on the wing who wasn't great, and outside of that has beaten Wales and otherwise lost all 6 other matches he's played for NZ (5 against Aus, 1 against England).

Fusitua or DWZ deserved it more.
