In other big news, we crossed 30 points and sewn it up at 70 mins barring a miracle.
For years we'd close up shop with not enough and leave the opposition to mop up the 4-8 point lead.

Can't believe Souths could only find 20pts tbh, that Warriors front line looked flimsy all game but they couldn't capitalise on it while you took every opportunity they gave you when their line didn't look much better

That Lisone try, a try under today's rules, but it is a perfect example of why the 80s/90s rules and attack was so much better, it wouldn't have been a try then, would have been a sheppard, they call it a poor defensive decision these days, what decision could he really make when there is a guy 2m in front of him with a guy standing directly behind him receiving the ball. Must be getting old when I start talking about "back in the day" lol, the halves didn't need decoys and all that rubbish back then, they could do it with their hands
