yep, nothing there to suggest Cronulla or the Warriors are anything but cellar dwellers...

Well I guess we better enjoy this 8-9th position we'll be sitting in at the end of the round while we can then right Mr Positivity.

Yep - by cellar dwellers I meant missing the playoffs (again)... we might scrape in, but there really haven't been ay noticeable signs of improvement

Agreed as a collective we haven't improved as of yet.

But individually some men have really grown. Lisone, Kata (bar that one hander lol) & especially our pack. One that stands out from this year is SJ believe it or not he is heating up and adding more to his attacking and defensive game.

It will be O for Awesome once we do collectively I really cannot see anyone good enough to stop our momentum once that bulb turns on :p

This was an important win. Yep, it was a pretty ugly game bar the final 5 minutes, and we played poorly for the most part. But the team showed to themselves that it is possible for them to win tight games.

I can't remember the last game we won in the final minutes, but we've sure lost a few like that over the last 3 seasons, and losing another in similar circumstances might've been the death knell for the year, or at least a big nail in the coffin.

But instead, we banked 2 points, and the team would've regained a whole lot of confidence in themselves and their footy, which can only be good going forward.

Yeah and the other thing to consider is the ridiculous amount of injuries to our backs, its given us no continuity and therefore a limited chance at establishing cohesiveness.

If Manu and Hurrell are out next week we could have an injured/unavailable backline that looks like this:

1. Tomkins
2. Fish
3. Laumape
4. Hurrell
5. Manu

Any club would struggle with that calibre of player out
