Warriors should be a lot more successful with their squad but as usual they fade in and out of games.
Mentally soft!

From what I seen, Lillyman was the only forward not getting turtled by the gang tackling. Maybe Kearney needs to work on countering the gang tackles (or the refs need to keep Melbourne onside). Our front row just makes me think of the late 80's kiwis props...short and stocky and know one direction and spin them around at halftime.

They are certainly magicians at slowing the tackle without ever seemingly getting penalized for it, they do it every tackle yet only we seemed to cop penalties for those offenses.
They commited 3 men into tackles, which always takes longer for 3 to get off than 2.

But the refs shouldn't let them have longer because of the extra man, if anything if should result on them being penalised more.
I touched on this earlier in the week because I know its something the Storm do well but so do other teams. A lot of teams do it or aim to. Its a one percenter aimed solely at restricting momentum that can snowball. Gang tackle and peeling off is old.

If that's the case hopefully it's dthe nothing Kearney can teach. The difference in the amount of time they consistently slowed out plays without getting penalised was frustrating as hell
