Can understand how fans might feel hard done by with the call, but for as long as I have been watching league, you haven't been allowed to run behind your own player. If the pass was thrown straight away he gets away with it, but those steps he took to run behind his man made it pretty clear cut, milked or not Rankin should not have to go through a player to get to the ball runner. The "he can't just disappear" line is completely irrelevant, facts are he was there and an advantage was taken using him

so how is that situation in broken play that we just saw, different to where they do a high ball and the catcher gets protected by players in front of him. Is that obstruction? He did not move into the path of Rankin at any stage. He stood his ground which he is entitled to do. He doesnt have to move at all. The bunker are f**king clueless. They look at things in total isolation instead of seeing what preceded it and make an abortion of a call everytime. Maybe we should get robots making these calls. Someone invent the necessary software now.

Yeah I know what you're saying and I know you've seen this problem as a topic of discussion many times this year. I think Rankin milked it but then again I'm not 100% sure and I am a Warriors fan.
