Robbie Farah was interviewed on the ABC Grandstand radio show this evening. He said the senior players had okayed the signing of Mason. Said they had known they were one prop short since before the start of the season. He didn't comment much about why the Tigers didn't go ahead with Mason, just said that it wasn't going to happen. He also said that Lote should have been right for this week but they are holding him back until next round to be sure.

Sounds like WT may have a very frustrating year ahead of them. I thought we had depth in all key positions for the first time in yonks. 3 games into the season that has disappeared down the gurgler. Sounds like we'll have to push a second rower into prop and just hope.

Sheens should have gone ahead and signed Mason if the players agreed,the sponsors can leave if they like,a winning team attracts new sponsors,and thats what we could become.

Can we throw Mason a last second life line after that hap hazard performance? Really think that a fired up Willie could provide the starch we sadly lack!!
