It’s a view based on the real world not this forum where people make conspiracy theories and run with them

the colours logo and 2 home games at nso are more important than sole ownership

with png they do have a greater chance of sole ownership Perth will never give them 100 percent ownership

The article quoted literally said, point us to a point in Australia and the club moves there. Hence why they are talking to the relevant bidders and not going it alone

Like I said Id rather wait ten more years for the right club than in ten years time people be talking about why the Bears have moved back to NSW because perth "failed again'

It will be longer than that if team 20 makes it in by 2032. They will then put expansion on hold

Again, based there full time

Based on this you'd expect 3-5k from Sydney for a Perth Bears team

If you have 3-5k buying jerseys.

On top of funding juniors and bringing in some sponsors. That is a good boost to a non League location

Why do you keep thinking the Perth Bears will fail though ?, if this does happen this is it, no 2nd chances.
Really I should be backing an PNG or Pasifika Bears because once the funding ceases in 10 years that will be exactly what will happen, the Bears will be back playing out of North Sydney Oval and Central Coast Stadium.

Because it is in NS interest to see it fail. Their key goal is to get the club back based at "the home of the bears' as they put it and playing FT in NSW. They'll do whatever it takes to realise that goal, however long it takes.
Only way that cant happen is if controlling share of the club is owned by the host city and theres a key focus on developing fans, corporates and pathways in that host city.

Yeh and the arlc and wa govt are just going to allow that to happen aren’t they

That is entirely your opinion

arlc, theyre more interested in making sure the tv contract is serviced with 18 or 20 clubs so yes I can see it, backed by the sydney media.
WA Govt will be different one in ten years. They tried to do something when Force were kicked out after they had funded them so much, and couldnt.

Obviously both the wa govt and arlc will put conditions in place which don’t allow the team to move

maybe make up something else ?

central cost bears the license reverted to manly if the club failed so don’t use that as an example

Yes it is. And its informed by what the Bears have publicly stated so far. Moore's not smart enough to hide their intentions.
As I have said all along:
- WA owned
- 1 home game max in Sydney that the NS LC pays for
- Change of branding to represent WA
- Pathways set up in WA
then it could work.
But so far NS havent offered any of those things in their 'non-negotiables'

The NRL need to do 2 things
Tell the WA govt that they may get a side & their being willing to take on the bears logo & colours will assist their case hugely , it will be 100% owned & run by them . If they choose to play a home game or 2 in Sydney , thats their choice, but it would be good business.

North Sydney need to be told the ONLY way their logo & colours live in the NRL will be releasing them to the WA Govt . They will have no further involvement.
If they refuse ,
Then the bears stay a relic of RL history

The way I see it and I am a Bears fan, 1 game at North Sydney Oval initially against Manly Warringah after two years, HBF Stadium has become a nightmare for travelling teams especially for those from NSW, Manly treat the North Sydney Oval match like it is a home game for them because it is the Perth Bears who are actually doing the travelling and from their cauldron in WA.
I can see things changing over time.

Ive said all along no problem with one home game in Sydney, as long as Norths pay for it in same way other clubs sell games to other venues. They could lob in a sleeve sponsorship for the pokie den and Norths pay $500k-1million a year for the privilege. Again this is setting out the stall that this is a WA club, not a NSW club playing in WA.

Id rather see it at a decent Sydney stadium than the 1970's level NS oval ground but if Norths are paying they can choose venue.

But again presuming WA offers up a strong bid on its own the Bears would be better placed in Adelaide if the NRL wants to follow Politis's lead and have a full metro comp by 2032.

It happened with the Northern Eagles, with Manly benefitting from that joint venture's collapse by having the license revert back to them.

If a joint venture happens between Norths and anywhere else (Perth, Adelaide, PNG, Wellington, Christchurch, where-ever) the bottom line from the NRL itself has to be that if the JV fails, the license becomes the NRL's & it gets used to establish a NEW club in an expansion location - preferably the same city, but definitely not NSW & probably not Queensland.
