Yes, for the obvious reasons, with the comparisons to the Wests Tigers
i missed the mark, i was attempting to be sarcastic.

perth bears sounds good but wouldn't that name interfere with a couple west aussies favourite perth establishment? i like west australian bears, or simply abbreviated w.a. bears

western sounds plastic and west coast sounds a bit too try hard vs. aussie rules. might alienate partial and potential fans off the mark with it.

He gave me his socks in Perth Reds last ever game here in Perth. All the ball boys went straight to the Canberra sheds and not the home team. That was one insane team.
it was a great team up until 1995. after that they never really got that crisp play again and have arguably been searching for it ever since.

if west aussie bears are up for 2027 season then i really like jayden campbell as one of the marquee signings. i know he isn't the top gun at titans or anything but he is super marketable and being a proud indigenous lad he could do a lot with promoting the game in west aus. could do alot worse than him as their fullback or 5-8 and he wouldn't break the bank.

Not a bad pick, he would be a rising star if he headlined his own side, but his dad is heavily invested in the GC community, not sure Jayden would want to move away, but then again he is an adult, he can do as he pleases I suppose, especially with the coin getting thrown around with a new franchise

Had a few good nights on the drink with Brett Hetherington, his son Jack (now Knights) played a few junior reps with my eldest.
Top guy Brett, owns a pub in Newcastle with Brett Mullins and Adam Muir.
Before being famous for being the first person to take a dive in Origin, he played 67 games for the Raiders.
