Just plant a fig tree there and the bears will be right at home.
Demountables and tents. Looks like Port Moresby.
article mentions 3 key demands but only lists 2.
1) development, grassroots, pathways and investment and ) stadium upgrade funding. safe to assume the third one is coe unless we are looking at it the wrong way and 3rd is bears brand for reasons spoken about ad nauseum by all relevant parties including those that matter.
If they just replicate the existing two good stands on the other side it will be a v.good stadium
Red bear said it six weeks beforethis is the 6th or 7th reporter stating the $120m grass roots funding. is he wrong too? heaps of news has been coming out since west aussie gov went into caretaker mode. thought it was suppose to be less. ding, dong
seems like vlandys and abdo are very much leading from the front in keeping the west aussie bears name warm in the media in recent times. its how good operators are suppose to do it for something they very much want to be come to fruition.
$120m isnt even for a fee its basically to help fund juniors who want to play the game with better facilities, programs etc. $12m per financial year for 10 years for kids sport is peanuts, it really is.Jeeze do we really want to go to a state where a lot of people hate rugby league so much when there are places that are begging for a team
120 million license fee ???? Lmao
Shed can stay but be developed. It is unique and adds a different flavour to stadium, offers cheap tickets for those who cant afford $60-80 and adds a couple of thousand to capcity at low cost if extended. Extend it full width and put a modern cantilever roof to match the east stand roof and its perfect. If they just replicate the existing two good stands on the other side it will be a v.good stadium
I suspect the main grandstand will be tarted up a bit more for corporates
They better not leave that shed the glory can get stuffed their fan base only fits in one stand anyway
It clearly is, in my opinion. RL just wouldn't be a vote winner in WA.
Racing is a big tax earner for governments.
btw its even front page & top heading news atm

eh? Its a motorsport track not a horse racing track lolRed is a Jehovahs Witness… anything to do with gambling is the devils work ..
i think its been alluded as such.Lol, libs will step right in and work with NRL if in power too
how would the deal have been done in october when the bid wasn't up to scratch & half arsed? fmd you need to move on cob.Not surprised with the Libs, was only going to use it as a political football (excuse the pun) if the deal wasnt done in October which it should have been. Fingers crossed now we dont get a shock election result.
