Yeah. He wanted the striker to go for a very quick single so he could bring up the ton by the end of the over. Probably thought his partner wouldnt be out for much longer. Got run out running to the strikers end

No, on 98 he pushed a ball between two fielders and completed the first run, but never got back for the second.
