Can I give it 6 rounds? He was lower than pond scum last year. Has he had any panel beating in the off season? Is his life in order? Seems to be on Stalkergram.

I know this. He needs to be way better this year

i dunno what he has to do to be better this year to make the team click into gear... seems everyone in the commentary box likes his unpredictability with the ball in hand (will he run, will he pass, will he kick) when the answer is almost always: he will hold the ball, take up 15 lateral metres, crowd out Doogs, then throw a stilted flick pass, get tackled or kick on the third ruining the plans of our halves. imo they need to give Graham a clear role as a hole runner and tell him he gets a couple scenarios where he can do his ball playing schtick... OR he gets moved to lock as a linkman, but i think he's already as outdated as Jake Turbo in that role if he does.

Covid maybe? Was a weird year for all. I'll back him up everyday of the week at this stage.

still carrying an injury too maybe? missed a lot of tackles and his starch was missing, but he did look like a non-threat too.. which imo is defences have figured him out. as always, combo of a lot of things i'm sure

Wade is our best player and it’s not even close. He is also a phenomenal leader.

Last year he never looked fit and the faster the game got the sloppier he looked. Last year there was covid and he had another kid. I’ll give him as many chances as needed to find his feet. Champions don’t stay down. Losing his NSW and Aus jersey would be killing him.

Edit - I can’t believe he is 30!!

he is owed time to turn it around though

He just didn’t look arsed last year - didn’t look fit, didn’t look like he was taking diet and training serious, didn’t look hungry or intent on the pitch.
But he does have runs on the board, and I wouldn’t want to write him off - needs a big year though if we’re to do anything.

I'm yet to be convinced he's a good leader. Hasn't looked the same since the likes of Gal and Lewy left.

He's been playing first grade since 2008 and he plays the game hard. Possibly his body has just had enough which is understandable.

Yep, he was a terrible leader last year. As chimp said, didn’t look arsed.

He set a very low standard for the team on the field and for the most part, they followed him.

Agree he’s key to any success we have this year, if it’s a repeat of his efforts last year and no SJ, we’ll be out of the running quickly.
