Not sure if this is posted anywhere else but......

I have heard from a very good source that WAGON will be starting in the centres against the dogs. REDDY will start from the bench.

Cheers

i doubt that'll happen. if hagan was gonna do that he should put a prop on the bench not an outside back like reddy

No need for a prop. Basically it is likely that Wagon will start in the centres and shift to the second row later when one of the forwards goes off. Early on against the Doggies its a particularly good move IMO. Big body in the centres where it is highly likely that Sonny Bill or Maitua will be running......

One thing I'm very worried about it Maitua, SBW and Mason running wide on the edges. This could very well limit their effectiveness.

Mason is playing prop so he probably won't be playing wide too much early on at least. Williams, Ryan and Maitua are the biggest worry. An experienced head at centre can hopefully keep Eric a little more settled and help Finchy or Tim.

Also worried about Reddy's effectiveness off the bench (if thats the plan)

He'd be brought in on the wing or at centre at some stage. Effectiveness in those positions at this point isn't going to be such a big deal, continuity is going to be the big thing....

So I guess Wags to go 2nd row and Reddy to take his position, could work. I'm not a fan of interchanging players from the backline.

If Jarryd wasn't playing as well as what he is at fullback at the moment then there would be some merit. We only need fill one spot rather than two.....

Jarryd is not a centre (at the moment anyway) so he would have troubles defending there and reading the plays.

I would still prefer Paulo in for Reddy and Wags to centre.

Benny is a defensive centre. He might provide a little more in attack than wagon would so I don't there is much loss.

Reddy off the bench for mine is a waste.

Reddy is better at fullback and Jarryd is better in the front line. I still am not convinced with Jarryd at fullback. He is a better winger.

They reported on 2SM that Wagon very well may start in the Centres.

MG Geyer said: "Bad move. We saw what happened with Dean Widders in the centre for souths last week"

IMO it would be a good move with Cannings coming onto the bench to give us that extra prop.

I would be very interested to know how Jarryd felt about winning the winger of the year award at the Dally M's? Winning the award is telling him that he is a very good winger, but apparently, his preference is to play at full back. Does anyone know what his opinion was of this?

I'm sure like most people, he would have been stoked to have won the award, i just found it rather interesting?

Aaron cannings is playing in premier league and will only be eligible to do so as long as first grade are still in the comp

I think Wags is a bit more mobile that Widdders - don't listen to that dribbler.

Wouldn't surprise if Wags plays centres. Hages has been reading my posts for a while now !!!

No sh*t. Which is why I suggested we play him in first grade. See how that works?

ok so because Widders failed in the centres then no backrowers should be used out wide

I guess SBW shouldn't play outwide, I guess Menzies shouldn't

Geyer is a class A moron
