I don't know how I feel about this. It's very sad for the fans but the super league does need to progress and perhaps trinity can secure their future with the money.
I would like to see Toronto get it if it does happen. Whilst Newcastle is a new area it's hardly expanding the sport out of the north is it.

I don't think a second team in Toronto would be a good idea at this stage.

We need to move all superleague clubs to png that way they might get good crowds and tv ratings

The idea of just selling a SL spot is pretty ridiculous, especially in a P&R setup.

Wigan V Hull FC, where can we watch this, not listed as a Sky Sports game?.
BTW if Wakefield were to offer up their Super League franchise wouldn't it be more like 4 to 5 million Pounds?

Do you think it's more likely they will relocate the first team (say to coventry) for a sum of $. And then enter a team in League 1 based in Wakey? They might realise they aren't SL standard off the field?

Carter interview by rugby am saying no offer has been made. Said there's nothing to consider. Also explained a lot about the problems with getting a new stadium.
