Lol, can't speak for England or NZ but at the very least Slater, Cronk, Hayne and Gallen are all bigger draw cards in Australia then Graham, Johnson and Burgess (though he'd be more recognisable then the other two because of the love affair the media had with him before he left to Union, he still wouldn't be as recognisable).

I don't know maybe those guys you named are the biggest names in the game in England, but not the biggest names in the game.
