Are you trying to tell me that AAC gets more attention in games than Lote?

If he can keep up his form from this season then yes he will.

I agree he has had a fantastic season for you blokes...............by his standards and unfortunately Laurie his standard performance in just not good enough for the Wallabies.

John Connolly seems to disagree with you... I'll be taking his advice over yours I'm afraid matey.

Connolly confirmed versatile speedster Adam Ashley-Cooper was being considered as a midfield option, despite limited Super 14 experience in the centres.
"We'll be looking at him in the midfield, we think he's had a pretty good year and we're happy with that."

I would go

1. Gareth Hardy
2. Tatafu Polota-Nau
3. Rodney Blake
4. Mark Chisholm
5. Daniel Vickerman
6. Rocky Elsom
7. George Smith
8. Stephen Hoiles
9. George Gregan (C)
10. Stephen Larkham
11. Lachlan Turner
12. Matt Giteau
13. Stirling Mortlock
14. Mark Gerrard
15. Julian Huxley

16. Jeremy Paul
17. Guy Sheperdson
18. Nathan Sharpe
19. James Horwill
20. Josh Holmes
21. Drew Mitchell
22. Adam Ashley-Cooper

Gerrard was starting to look good at the end of the season, Huxley boot will come in handy from fullback and he has made some decent runs.

You are kidding me..where is Shephard! He is the best fullback by a mile and has just as big a boot as Huxley!

Isn't Shephard still injured?

And Cooper is one of the brightest stars around- much better than Beale IMO.
Tell me what Cooper does better than Beale please. Or are you basing this opinion on Cooper playing more minutes?

As for brightest stars.... Neither have shown form even close to Francois Steyne or Peter Grant. Beale is the most talented out of all of them though.

Cooper at least does the basics right and shows more in attack. If he wa sin a decent side he'd be stunning. Cooper has a much better pass as well.

Beale has more variation in his play and posess a stronger passing game at the flick of wrist. He tried too much this year but when you're inside of Sam Harris and outside of Brett Sheehan nothing works. Running game, no need to even argue about that.

Who cares about running games. IMO a fly half should be first and foremost a organiser and Cooper defiantely is better in that regard. IMO Beale is not the best no10 for the Tahs-Sam Norton-Knight is. Variation is great, but the basics are what are most important.

Cooper and beale are no where near international standard yet

Completely agree. It's Larkham and then daylight for the fly-half role at this stage.

I agree skeepe, but considering the no22 jersey will barely be used anyway, why not give it to a youngster- Cooper would be my pick IMO.

Cooper and Beale are 2nd fives. australia really need to build a more complete first five. both these 2 new stars are poor compaired to what carter was at that age.

Australia are screaming out for a traditional first five like carter or Wilko. Larkham served his purpose extremly well and provided australia with a diffrent style which was sucsessfull. but theve been doing that for the last decade now and they need to change there style up.

they need a first five who has a STRONG kicking and passing game. with a running game that can suprise when needed.

not these 10's that either run, pass or short kick. it was good in 6-7 years ago but the game has changed since then.
