Wallace will be fine. Video ref just wanted to give a penalty and I think they have to put them on report to do so.

Lockyer.. may need some painkillers.

At least Thaiday will be back, we'll need him. Wallace is fine, joke of a penalty anyway, Boyd is a cat for staying down. Lockyer, who knows.. I assume you can still play with a broken cheek bone?

It looked like he had bruising on the side of his head, so not sure if he copped it flush on the cheek.. you could see a bruise starting on his cheek though.

It didn't look as bad as Brett Kimmorely's injury last year, I remember when he got hit there, within a few mins he was swelling up and had blood coming out.

Yeh looking at Locky it seems he may have fractured it... Real DeJavu with one of our playmakers looking a slim chance to play the GF Qualifier...

What ever happens from here however I am super proud of the boyz!@

Wallace will be fine Boyd is a bitch. But as for Locky i'm no doctor but it did not look good at all. If it is a broken cheekbone I dont think he will be able to play.:(

I wouldn't be that confident coming into another game against the Warriors. They are due for a win with the LLWW thing we have had going for a few years.

Wallace's tackle shouldn't have even been a penalty... And I think Lockyer will play through injury unless it is something really severe which I don't think it is. It definitely looked like he knew more than he was saying, but I really think he won't be able to sit out the last 2 games of his career in the situation we are in.

Counting your chickens before they hatch? Really all everyone can do is speculate on the injury and wait for a official confirmation. I wonder if they will drag through it through the media all week or announce he is playing or not at the start.

I suspect we may all have just seen the final brilliant moment in a brilliant career from undoubtably one of the most brilliant players to ever play the game...

I hope not.. but if it was then it was one hell of a moment to leave us all with.

There are two sportsmen that have had a profound effect on me in my life and conjure up the strongest feelings of pride and admiration.

The first was Steve Waugh on that day in Sydney when he scored a hundred on the last ball of the day after months of incredible pressure saying he was past it...

The second has been even better because that moment has lasted for years.

Darren Lockyer..

Take a bow....

ppl been telling me if it is a depressed cheek bone fracture he may still play with it as others have done in the past. Will have to wait and see how he pulls up. But maybe some painkillers and a face mask and hill be sweet.

Looks like it is a depressed cheekbone fracture. Any 1 know if you can play with this ??
Medical specialists would say no to Lockyer playing. What medical specialists don't understand is that Lockyer is a Queenslander. Queenslanders can defy anything.
