Predictions are one persons opion.Everyones entitled to them,its not a matter of intelegence. As people have said who would have predicted lasts years results.
Smiths a self confessed tigers man,so why would he not pick them for the prize.This year put all the teams in a hat and pull them out and you will have as much chances as picking the eight.
I hate to say it,but I think the rorters will be the big movers.Both Anasta and Harrison are going to give them a go to person on both sides of the ruck.As for my tigers,they will struggle into fourth place at very best-the loss of big Pat and the 2nd year after sydrome factor will come into plays.Also Scotty Prince will be spending to much time with his accountant looking to invest his gold coast millions
A wooden spooner--maybe the warriors,but it will not be the raiders,when you play every second game in canberra,you are going to win your fair share.Like last year their will be a blanket over the field after the final round

BTW Warren Smith's fanaticism for Wests is very apparent when you meet the man.

Funny how it still is a dogs v chooks thing, even though they crashed and burned last season. Sort of like 2 groups fighting a massive battle for 10th and 11th.

Cronulla have needed a clean out for a while.Most of their promise is eaten away by them psychologically falling apart in tight games. They are sometimes the most undisciplined mob in the comp. having said that, the Kimmorley/Vagana combo could become very dangerous. Their 50-100 game men need to step up.

Whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion,I can't see how Lowdown can think the Storm are stronger this year than they were last year.Orford,Bell,Kearns and Chan leave a big hole which didn't get filled.
Not even I think we will be minor Premiers,I am not sure what effect the whole Scott Prince saga will have on the team,but we should be in the 8 somewhere.

My point was not that he was wrong or stupid. But Wazza is a league expert and and I think he made his predictions carelessly and not to mention loyalty - the fact that he is a Tigers fan after all.

The Tiges finished 4th last year, now their team looks worse on paper and this issue about Prince will only become bigger, to put them as minor premiers (and eventual winners) must be based less on his intellect, and more on the emotive.

Case closed.

They've only lost two player, O'Neill and Richards, and they've added four players, O'Hara, Lolesi, Harris and Galloway. And if all players are fit, I don't even think Harris and Galloway will be able to fit in the side...

Not too mention that blokes like Marshall,Halatau,Rhino,Farah,Harrison and co have all had another 25 games ubder their belts and won the comp(some of them repping for NZ).
