3. Mckinnon - Provided added enthusiasm, much needed. Great Try!!!
2. Hohaia - Great impact off the bench
1. Ropati - Made a few breaks and had a mistake free game:D

3. Wade McKinnon - slotted back like a natural after a long, long-break. Showed no apparent ill-effects of the injury.

2. Lance Hohaia - continues to play very well for us. Great off the bench, and could easily be in the starting team somewhere in the halves. If you noticed, it was him that laid on that kick for the Witt try. He also put in another great kick that changed the momentum for us.

1. Jerome Ropati - still awful on D, sneaking up on Kemp let Wallace put the kick in behind him for the try...but looked great on attack, got on the outside of his man a lot.

3. Rapira - finally hitting his straps. No dawdling or backing up into the line but hitting it with purpose and gaining good yards with the odd offload.

2. Ropati - Devastating with ball in hand.

1. Cleary - for dropping Rovelli. Overcooked a few kicks, but that halves pairing should see us through the rest of the season.

Toru = Lance Hohaia (This guy has to be our best player of the year easily)

Rua = Wade McKinnon (Yelled at the boys all night, it was great)

Tahi = Sam Rapira (Went like a bulldozer tonight, finally hitting form from last year)

Honourable Mentions: Malo Solomona & Ropati on attack were also very good. Tate too..

Very hard this week. They all played well.

3. Henderson Just keeps us going forward - some rough edges but makes up for it with sheer enthusiasm.

2. Wadeo Great to see him back. And he directs well from the back.

1. Hi Hi Hohaia. He deserves a starting spot in the halves.

Honarable mentions:

Solomona - he really looks solid on the wing. Will go a long way.
Price - getting back to his best
Ropati - playing in his only position
Tate - played well
Rapira - starting to show what he can do.

Sad to say Witt was only ordinary. I hoped for more.

But hey - we won!

How can you put Manu anywhere in your points picks? He was probably our worst player yesterday. You could tell from the very start that he has in "off day" mode, and I am surprised he didn't find a way to cost us the game.

Manu made a few quality hit-ups, but apart from that the guy looked dodgy as hell, juggling/dropping balls, tapping kicks straight back to Broncos players (just catch it!), rushing out of position on D, pushing offloads when we are in our danger zone.

I'm a huge fan of Manu but he wasn't even in our top 10 players yesterday.

3-McKinnon (thrilled to see him back in action. We looked a lot more organised, and to me Wade brings the x factor we have missed all season. And brillient to see Wade pick up a try in the first game back!)

2-Hohaia (must have the best attitude in our squad. Dropped from a position he has excelled in all season, and comes off the bench with a great display, breaking the line and throwing good passes)

1-Ropati (only for his excellent attacking work - still scares me on D)

3. Hohaia- I thought his best game all season, constantly evading the first tackle
2. Rapira- Easily our most devastating forward
1. Matulino- Showed his potential

3~ Mckinnon: He's back, and he's his usual pissed off self, great to see him yelling at the ref.

2~ Matulino: Is a superb prospect, between him, Fai, Packer et al we're in good hands for the future.

1~ Fien: The options this week were far superior to the Ravs/Fien combo, hopefully Witt can find his goal kicking form though.

I'm suprised how many people have given Ropati points, he was good in attack but his defense cost us multiple times.

I'm suprised how many people have given Ropati points,

cant argue with the stats (courtesy nrl)

Yeah I don't think it was one of Manu's better games. I gave Ropati a point purely based on attack. He is still terrible on defense.

Fien has been terrible the last 2 games. His kicking game is absolutely diabolical. I don't know how anyone can be happy with the halves (and I'm not saying bring back Rovelli btw, just that Fien is sh*t as well).
