Sorry, but after the week the NRL season launch has had, this is great news for the game in New Zealand regardless of who you support.

Old news! Warriors sold out over super league.

Absolutely abysmal crowd at the Auckland Blues rugby match.

Had a quick check to see the crowd for that Auckland Blues match and no more than 6k.

Meanwhile the Warriors are heading for a 20k plus crowd.

Trolls are lame. Crap trolls are just sad. Like seeing that nerdy guy in your office drunk at the christmas party.

A strong Warriors outfit is good for league in general. I love my team but they're capable of anything (including spectacular failure) so while I think we're looking better than we have ever in my opinion I'll wait for results to build up before I'll be convinced the fans will stick around.

I'm always gonna be there though. Glutton for punishment.

Only place in the world where yawnion is the no1 sport & it appears to be on the nose.
No offence to you kiwis but people in OZ woke long ago to the fact ...you can't polish a turd.

Perhaps 3-4 very strong seasons from the warriors and continued Kiwi victories in test football will bring massive cries for another club. I firmly believe that Wellington is far better suited than Christchurch or Waikato as RL has what you would call a reasonable pressence.

Continue to monitor then act, that's what is needed.

the blues deserve the crowds there getting... theve been utter dog tripe... im just really sick of the whole NZRFU... there arrogance towards the punters is so evident.

im looking forward tot he warriors though.... theve really worked hard with the fans and the local media and with abit of form i reckon they will do well...
