The Sharks have improved considerably by cutting deadwood distractions like Holmes and Segeyaro. The additions of Johnson, Jmoz, and Tapau will prove to be buys of the season and fit perfectly with the team structures. The last time the Sharks had a ball playing fullback they won the premiership. Moylan is the answer and is no longer the half-man he was in Penrith.. Runs harder, hits harder, and is a much better defensive player under the tutelage of Flanagan. Johnson will be terrorizing defences all year behind that pack.

It is a very good side.
Two players courtesy of bulldogs idiocy pretty funny

Johnson has rarely had a dominant forward pack at the Warriors. I can't wait to see how he goes at the Sharks. In the 2014 four nations he carved up the Kangaroos playing for a dominant Kiwi team.
Don't know about that but I do know coaching techniques and tactics have a lot to do with the kiwis failings.

Love opposition footy fans.

Sharks sign New Zealand’s International Halfback and suddenly he becomes a shyte player.

Then I read most of the Sharks players are shyte.

But then if we sign another player we must be over the salary cap because we’ve got too many great players.

Lol.

Then to top it off we are getting bagged by supporters teams who didn’t make the top 8 last year and a dope who doesn’t even have a footy team to support.

LOL!!!!

Sure some of those exist but then you have a heap of others who have been saying SJ sucks for years

I'm neutral, cant decide if Warriors and their crap coaches dragged SJ down, or his lack of ability to manage games caused the Warriors a lot of their problems. With a winning team around him its going to be very interesting to see what he can do. I'm generally a big SJ fan as I love off the cuff attacking RL but it doesn't tend to work well in the NRL, at international level he has been part of some of the best games of all time against England in recent years.

SJ would like to reiterate what a great decision it was to join the sharks because of the wonderful cult the club has. Flanno and Gal must be the J Edgars of rugby league

I suspect that Shaun Johnson is now regretting his move to a club which now has no Head Coach, and whose future is very much up in the air.

He should have gone to London Broncos for a year and then signed for the Roosters in 2020.

I seen in the paper the other day some bloke fell off a cliff. They had a photo of him in a Roosters jersey. I figured given the Chooks have f**kall fans, there was a good chance it was Albert.

Imagine my disappointment when I seen him bump this thread.

There is a chance that the Cronulla Sharks will fold in 2019 because of financial problems. Where does leave Shaun Johnson?

In my humble opinion Shaun Johnson will finally and belatedly have to move to London for the rest of 2019, to play for the London Broncos. Then he will have to sign up with the Sydney Roosters for 2020 and beyond. He will have no other attractive choices.

Yeah because none of the good teams want him.
