Hello Ozbash,
Its always nice to come to this place and see you being the Crown Lunatic on subjects Warrior-related.

I think the team you have listed therecertainly has some large slices of rump to show for it, but I reckon their fortunes this year will allbe relevant to their hairstyles.

Hence if there is a bigwind/breeze the Warriors could be in trouble. They'll need to beetten down those braids bro!
Also if the Tigers manage to get a few points on them before the final 20 minutes and the ensuingcharge of the big buttock brigade, then the Warriors may also face some strife.

The game does loom as the toughest tip of the round.

But failing any wind, and with the Warriors still in it bythe 60 minute mark, I reckon your mobcould win by 10 - 15.

Lookout for the Rabbitohs giving Gordon Tallis a rugby league lesson this week. *gulp*

hello bug.
did someone mention bunnies??-- rabbit stew,, yum

the tigers play on heart,,no skill, just heart. their backline lacks direction and composure with hill out.

on the other hand, the mighty warriors are turning into the complete unit !

you coming over for the slaughter Rd 9 ?

Round 9 Ozbash? No unfortunately i will be busyaround thehouse. But when we give your bunch of upstarts a touch up lesson in "how to hold onto the ball properly",I will think fondly of you.
And of course if you manage to scun a few of us first, and give us a whacking I shall of course acknowledge that in the correct and fair manner!

But back on the Tigers, I reckon that they have a workmanlike (not womanlike) ethic about them from Baa baa which will see themselves asbeing in control of their own destiny. I have seen these kinds of sides rise to play good opposition and generallylower their standards against inferior teams.

yes bug, i understand a little of terrences ethics.he tutored sione hopoate dd he not?
and i would hazard a guess that he might try to take advantage of monty bethams absence and try a bit of "hows your father" in the front row.
terrence and his lads will come horribly unstuck. the pussys are going to be introduced to the "enforcer", aka,mr effective, aka iafeta palea'aesina.

i,m afraid it will be "hows your mother" after that encounter

I see this game has reached hallowed "Channel 9 game" status. It couldscore major pointswith the massive"I'm not a league fan, but...." crowd here in NZif theyhear icons like Rabs and Sterlo calling a goodWarriors performance, buthow much of Richie Beanaud'spronunciationpractice will bedone forthis one? Good to seePalea'aesina back on the fit list, even if he doesn't play. Murphy's inclusion does seem strange though, Ozbash. Just when I thought Anderson had quit giving green youngsterschances to teach established stars a lesson, he starts messing around again. Murphy's latest chance couldn't have anything to do with his contract being renewed in the last week, could it? A lower base salary in exchange for more chances in first grade maybe?I can seethat create asparkle in Mick Watson's eyes right now! Speaking of which, how did the Auckland public's feeble 11,400 last Saturday stack up in the books? Considering the Storm are a quality side, feature plenty of Kiwi starsand are arguably the only club we've developed any colourful history with as rivals so far, how's that whole "tribal brand loyalty" thing workin' out for ya? Sorry, I digress.... The only reason I can see behind choosing Murphy is that they're going to try and really turn the lights up on the Tigers out wide, occasionally early in the count to mix it up. The last thing we want is another dour, filthy battle in the gutter against these bastards (which to their credit they've always lured us into so well), so we'll stick to the fast lane with quick, clean-cut white boys. To this end, I personally wouldn't mind Villasanti being benched and Morgan starting. With Villa's style of playyou wouldn't put it past a team like Wests inducing a send-off, or at least get him looking for big shoulder hits when ball-'n'-allers are more appropriate. Seeing it's predicted the last 2 games pretty well (e.g. not over-rating a tackling machine whenbetter attacking optionswere whathis team desperatelyrequired), "Kipper the Dog" (as Pepe puts it!)will try another battle on paper.I don't hold outmuchhope foraccuracythis time though- the Tigers are playing way better than the sum of their parts right now. <u>

Ye ole battle on paper, gotta love it!!!

I see Cleary is finally starting to rate with you, Kips. Same old story though, our backline is still not rated against the opposition, we catch them up in the halves and start to dominate them in the forwards, then we finish them off with the bench.

I'm not sure about Paeleasinna playing, but he may replace Morgan on the bench. Guttenbiel will probably start for Koopu. On Murphy, I don't think even Wayne Beavis could negotiate a contract like that, I think you are being a bit paranoid. But the Warriorsprobably are wanting to see what they have committed themselves tofor the next few years.

I've been watching a few Wests Tigers games, including last week's effort. It was a good game and both sides were pretty evenly matched. In fact, if it hadn't been for 2 stupid Hopoate offloads that led to 2Tigers tries, it would have been a close game.

I think the Warriors will finally overcome their bogey of being sucked in to a lesser team's tactics and they should bust the Tigers up in this one.

It should be a rocket-buster!!!!!!!

Agree with most, but Kip, id pick Manu over Tookey any day of the week. Manu has a ton of talent and grit. Apart from that, its hard to argue

This is the type of game in the past that would scare the hell out of me. However, and i'm reluctant to say this, I think finally we have turned a corner and we won't be dragged down to their level. Thats exactly the kind of comment that could come back to haunt me (especially with the tigers playing the way they have) but this is the time for the warriors to step up and be accountable. This is as near a full strength team as we're going to have for the rest of the season and a great chance to show that we can play consistent football and win 2 on the trot. Gonna be a great game. Go the warriors! Warriors by 12
