Other information:

-Fien copped a big knock to the eye, definitely won't be coming back on the field.
- Wesser having an absolute blinder, making line breaks and looking threatening every time he gets the ball.

I thought the Panthers would have been pretty unlucky to lose that game, most decisions went against them imo.

f**king hell...I widh the Warriors had won..that Vatuvei try was entertaining

I reckon that Wesser try was bullshit...the guy playing the ball was like shoving a Warrior backwards

That was weak... very weak.
Warriors did more than enough to win, and f**ked it up totally with poor decisions in the panther's 20...
We missed Fein badly when he left early in the first half.
Congrats Panthers.

We had plenty of chances in the last 10, plenty of chances all game. A dominating forward performance but poor execution and last tackle options, particularly in the opposition 20, let us down. The loss of Fien was a big blow.

To be fair, the Wesser try was 50/50... the marker can stand his ground, but not walk forward with both arms outstretched, deliberately blocking a tackler.
Having said that, we deserved to lose with the poor options we took and at least two tries we blew.

Agreed. Fien's loos seemed to take a lot of the tactical nous out of the performance. Nothing wrong with 90% of what we did, good defence, good forward effort, decent kicking game from Jones, lack of the usual Toopi/Meli blunders, but we just didn't quite have the sharpness within the opposition 20. And it still took a peice of individual brilliance from Gower to win it for the Panthers.

Indeed, what was Wiki doing taking a 5th tackle kick :?
And as for Guttenbiel... argh.
Every time he gets the ball you can pretty much guarantee play is about to die.
How he missed the offload to Todd Byrne for a certain try, is beyond me.

We should have won by 20....f**k me though, i know people will try and take positives, but we can't keep losing these games.

Having said that:

Ropati was a lot better
Vatuvei was good
Overall dominant forward display

Negatives:

Shit execution
Fien injury
Toopi
Hohaia

I just hope the injuries are minor and all the players can play next week. Again our backs and our attack let us down. Even when our forwards are dominating week in week out, we still can score that many points.
