Wat if we got 4th

it is still possible for us to finish 4th

Giving as a home final now the problem where would this be held

Leichardt or ctown or Telstra ???

and yes i no it a long shot but anything can happen plus this is a new feeling for us tiger fans

Yes there is a good feeling but not an unrealistic feeling - We have no chance at getting into 4th!

I would be grateful with finishing 7th to be honest let alone 8th!

Also if we did host a final it wouldn't be played out of Leichhardt or Campbelltown as both grounds fail to meet the NRL finals criteria - it would be at the SFS I think you would find

We are arguing over nothing as it won't happen, HOWEVER how can Kogarah qualify but our two dont?

For it to happen we would need;

1. To win all our games; Bris(a); NQ(h), Newc(a)....Possible
2. Saints to lose all remaining games; Newc(a), Manly(h)....Unlikely
3. Penrith to lose all remaining games; NQ(h), Parra(a), Bris(h)....Possible
4. Melb. to lose all remaining games; Dogs(h), Sharks(a), Manly(a)...Possible


It looks unlikely (100-1 I'd say),but stranger things have happened.
I think that if we win all of our remaining games then we are a very good chance of finishing 6th, which would more than likely mean a double chance in the finals.

I emailed em earlier in the year and they said leichhardt WOULD get the game IF we made the home semi and they both meet the criteria.

Stadium Australia would probably get on the phone immediately and guarantee the club mega $ to stage the game .

if we were playing another sydney team we'd get 50-60K attending

Thats weird because there was something about this in our first season and thats what was advised back then about the grounds, something along the lines of not being able to hold the crowd that we would pull + the failure to meet the NRL ground criteria for Finals matches

There hasn't been any changes since to either ground (except for a scoreboard that dosn't work and signage being repainted on a yearly basis) so I don't know how this could change - back then they said a home final would of been played out of the SFS

Yeah the last part makes sense so I wonder who backed down ????? the NRL or was it really the WTS making the excuse back then ????

Either way now I will be praying even harder for the boys to make the top 4 ;-)
