Watchmen Bluray

Just saw that Watchmen is now out on DVD/bluray and was wondering if it's the same "directors Cut" as the one being released in the US?
If not when do we get that one?
Seems to have better features and a longer cut of the film

The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray on July 21, 2009. The Blu-ray contains Maximum Movie Mode, which plays the movie along with a video presentation by director Zack Snyder, and includes behind-the-scenes footage, comic comparisons, trivia, and more.[124][125] In December, 2009, an "Ultimate Collector's Edition" will be released. The five-disc set will include the director's cut of the film with Tales of the Black Freighter woven in, new commentaries by Zack Snyder and Dave Gibbons, the complete Watchmen Motion Comics, and over 2 hours of bonus content including Under the Hood, which was previously released on the Tales of the Black Freighter DVD.[citation needed]

I think I might hold out until December for the ultimate edition.

The extended cut isnt anything great TBH. Movie is friggin awesome...but the extra minutes arent anything special.

I was hoping for the director's cuts of this film aswell...I will still get I'm a mad Snyder fan what he did with 300 is absolutely awesome

hahah the ultimate edition will run for 9 hours if it weaves all that other stuff like the black freigther into it

glad i read this, i was gonna get the bluray when it came out but i'll wait now
