Hey guys, just wondering if you lot could help me out abit, im trying to organise a meeting point for some sydney based raiders to meet up before the game on saturday for a few pre drinks. I know the leagues club is right next to the stadium but is there any other pubs around the ground or Woolooware station that might be suitable for a couple of quiet drinks and a laugh?

Cheers

Mate, nothing remotely close to it. I mean there's Northies, but that's a cab fare away.

Your best bet is the leagues.

i reckon somewhere like the gymea hotel would be the goer, if you want a quietish one

pub is two sec's from train line, then it's three stations away ...about 5 mins

Otherwise caringbah inn is wicked, or bizzo's at caringbah .....both pretty close to caringbah station, then only one station to woolooware

Thanks for the info lads. Would be great for the Sydney RA lads to have a pre game yarn with some sharkies fans, unfortuantely the buses from Canberra wont arrive til around 4pm, so straight inside to watch the under 20s for us. Get the masons ready, we are pumped for a large showing.

No.
Each suburb in the Sutherland Shire has got one huge souless pub, except for the suburbs like Woolooware that have no pubs

The Hotel Cecil.

You can sit Mum and the Kids out under the Norfolk Pines.

Just duck out every 30 minutes with a proper bar made Lemon Squash for the old girl, a red drink and a packet of Smiths Crisps for the brats.

Worked a treat for my old man.

You only get in the sh!t when the sun goes down.

Cheers
