I miss this shit.

Much prefer to watch The Voice these days. Like a good little consumer.

Anyway the whole point to this thread is that I was listening to Coast FM (ABC) and one of the quiz questions was..

Birthday Quiz. Who turns 42 today??

Answer.. Darren Hayes of Savage Garden fame..

Yeah, Australia's greatest nuffies. Same time I was getting f**ked in the brain by the link I provided.

Discuss..

Great song.

I miss the 90's
In 92 in the space of about 3 weeks I saw
The first big day out
Then nirvana and about 3 days later the femmes.
Plus numerous oz bands playing local.
I must have that electronic setup with Fiona Horne singing about 10 times .
Def fx.
Didn't even like the music.
Like her though.

Yeah 90's Carch.. Best era of rock by a long way. The Technology was up to date and there were plenty of tragedies which we love.

Whats happened in the last 14 years?. A few good Tool CD's, Soundgarden couldn't replicate the magi9c when they finally got back together, shame.

I went to Soundgardens fourth last show at the Horden (sp?)

Loved the 90s! Great music back then

Saw gunners at eastern creek. That was insane

f**k Yeah dude, I was there. smuggled in a bottle of rum. When I got to the place where we were going to sit I produced it and flaunted it infront of the crowd to a happy applause. Also had an ample amount of gas to see me through. shhh.

Do you remember how hot it was and as a result got f**ked in the ring by by the promoters selling bottles of water for 4 buck a pop? Fair bit of coin back then as I do recall. Met some Bikie chick "onion" and she gave me a pass into the front section.. I ended up with a wet dick which was good. She gave me some black putty hash hehehe knocked half of Engadine out for about a week.

Good times.

Who actually liked that mob??

Wish I could remember the 90s....

Yeah Savage f**king Garden. The blonde dude in the "band" actually said in an interview that it wasx the death of Curt Cobain that contributed to their success. f**k me.

By the way, Skid Row shat all over the Gunners at Eastern Creek. Do you remember Sebastion Bach got a 6 pack and threw Beers into the crowd>? Pretty funny, ironic considering there was 90 f**king thousand people. :D

I was there at Eastern Creek gunners. Got burnt to a crisp and the bastards rocked up hours late.

Remember the merkin that kept coming on and telling people to settle down? Surprised he got out alive.

Yeah they took forever and were pretty average, Axle just ran around the stage a few times and Slash was a thousand miles away off to the side. . I've seen Chillies live and in their prime, they were larger than life. Missed out on Janes Addiction though, they cancelled the tour cause of ol mates drug addiction. Of course.

Frenzy.

To this day my parents think I was staying at my friends house. I saved up my pocket money for a month to buy a ticket. I was only young and went with a bunch of 17-18 yr olds from my area (port Stephens) they took a bus down for it. One of the best experiences I've had concert wise

Smith st band are ace!

Speaking of 90s. My buddies the HARD ONS, Australia's best 90s band are doing a "revival" type show where they only play their old shit. I'll be there and I reckon bbb will be too. 6 June at the manning bar and only 25 bucks.

f**k EVERYONE went to that GNR gig. It has to be pointed out that not that many big bands toured in oz in those days. I've subsequently been to shows at Eastern creek and it is the WORST.
