All pretty similar but it must have been a cool time to be around.
That song "I'll be gone" by spectrum is an absolute classic .
It makes me want to cry .

Agree totally about the 70's music (i was just too young but not by much). I was watching a clip from Sunburry a while back, Kings of the World. Written by Graeme Gobles and Bebe Bertles. Just mind blowing. Aparently they dont get on (maybe never did not sure) but Gobles reckons he writes all his songs in 20 minutes. If he has to put more effort than that in its not flowing as it should. Reckons he channels rather than writes. Worked just fine for him.

I have 2 Peabody CDs that one with wrecking ball ( not miley )
and a little 4 tracker a song called swing low cross over show or something.
It is such a great song that nobody probably heard.

Going with the Aus Rock theme, did anyone watch The Sunnyboys documentary on ABC last night? Well more specifically it was called The Sunnyboy and centered around Jeremy Oxley and his battle with schizophrenia. What a legend to go through all that and come out the other end - great doco!

Saw Magic Dirt at Caringbah Bizzos, great show. Just a quick correction, rock goddess.

Anyone here around in the 80's pub music scene? Some interesting bands at what would seem unlikely venues in the shire. Punk rock at the sutho royal, Anti Nowhere League and Killing Joke at Carmens, the Buzzcocks at Promises, DK's at the Workers, I even saw the Toecutters (sorta surfie punk band) at the Cecil in it's last days. Then the 90's, craziest show was Toe to Toe, plus a western sydney hip hop band and a death metal band at the masonic hall opposite the cop shop. Out of control.
