Okay, as you boys know after the Hewitt game I got on Gonzalez $10 @ 34, and he has since polished off Blake, Nadal, and Arse.
What do I do now? The way he played tonight (45 winners/3 unforced) he could go all the way. But do I hedge on the Fed, and how much if you guys were me?

Mate it's going to be some final.

If Gonzo keeps hitting those shots he will go close to rolling Fed. And he shows no signs of buckling under pressure. Although a Slam final against the worlds gun may take a bit off him.

It's a tough call. I'd be inclined to have a little something on Federer by the sets 3-1 and 3-2. The way Gonzo is playing he'll take a set. Depends what you want to lay off, if you want to play safe, go with the 3-0 aswell.

I pretty much ruled out the head to head, because the most Fed will pay will be $1.40.
Not really good enough to put say $200 on and win $80 if Fed wins and only $140 if Gonzalez wins.

sh*t... $1.14 head to head.
Federer to win 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2 is paying $2.25, $2.85, and $7.50 respectively.

Can't see why Fernando couldn't push him to five sets.

The form Fed showed the other night NEVER lasts more than one match.. and while he is still definitely all class I really think Fernando can push him.

The only worry is whether he will be overwhelmed by the occassion, but that's doubtful given the clinical performances he has given throughout the finals.

3-2 great value at $7.50, but 3-1 probably more likely.

You can say the same for Fernando though. Re that type of form not lasting. He's gone 4 games in a row playing like that. Been waiting for him each time to drop off but it hasn't happened. The pressure of the final against Fed could do that.

I reckon he'll take at least 1 set of Federer.

I was expecting it against Tommy Arse, but he absolutely destroyed him.

Unlike Baghdatis last year, he is fresh and in better form. He pumped Blake, Nadal, and Haas all in three sets, and has only dropped four sets the whole way through (and Hewiit was lucky to get one of those).

If he was playing anyone other than Federer, I would confidently say he would win.
