Right so let me get this straight..Bennett has to respect the media..when the media is the first ones to start slaying the boot into Wayne every time we lose a couple of games. His job is to coach..and the last time I checked he has 6 more premierships than most other coaches in the NRL! Yes the media play a role..but don't give me the s..t that Bennett owes anything to the media becuase frankly he doesn't! The players promote the games anyway to a large degree.

So people buy RL magazines etc to see players play? Wrong. They buy them to read what ALL the players (players coaches admin refs etc) have to say. as i said, it would be great if everyone took bennetts stance.
And you know damn well thats not bennett being himself. He can be himself without the cliches.

Btw....how many sporting books do you own, saab? I recall you quite often quoting from books, thankfully those authours/subjects didnt take bennetts childish stance.

I have Bennetts book and it is a great read. He does open up when he wants to...not for the benefit of beer guts like yourself sitting on the couch at press conferences. One of your best fountain pen!
Everyone is different. Bennett gives them nothing...the likes of Murray, Raper, Brown, Elliott...they just open up and put pressure on themselves.
I dont want BS cliches.

The reporters questions left alot to be desired.

They know what he's like, they need to structure their questions better to avoid yes, no or one word answers.

I watch the games to watch the players play. Not sit back and listen to press conferences. I watched this one as i know what Bennett is like and i wanted to see him in action.
That was the funniest press conference i have ever seen as he played te journos extremely well.

I'm just a mug fan, and no...I dont need anyone to spell it out for me....but he's the 6 time premiership winning coach, hes the ex origin and ex kangaroo coach, he's the one thats worked with the greatest footy talent in the world, hes the brains behind the broncos and as such I think his thoughts would be as interesting as the game itself, yet he continues with the 14yo emo impersonations.
