I'd add my voice to the chorus to give Nicholls a go ahead of Munro. Hasn't looked any good since game 1.

I'm not entirely opposed to seeing Sodhi get a run ahead of de Grandhomme or Santner either.

100 might be a bit much but at least 70. He dropped Gayle on 58, he went on and scored another 30. He conceded the best part of 9 an over with the ball off his 9 overs

Those 9 overs would have been bowled by someone else though and no guarantee they would have been better. Dale Steyn's worst figures are 0-96, one game doesn't erase previous good games.

He had a bad game for sure and going into the next stage I would prefer Southee who is a proven death bowler.
