Aaron Mauger hopes to extend rugby career by playing less intense competition with Leicester after this year's World CupAaron Mauger is hoping a move to Leicester will prolong his rugby career.
The All Blacks midfielder had been thinking about a move for the last five months and spoke to a few English clubs before signing a two and a half year deal with the Leicester Tigers starting in December.
Mauger says it will be a nice break from the intensity of New Zealand rugby. However, he says he will definitely be back in 2010.
Mauger says he definitely wants to finish his career with Canterbury. He says if his body holds up he is still good enough he also wants to play in the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand.
