After being set a competitive, but getable total, England were almost on target, when their captain handed back the initiative with the loss of his wicket to an attempted reverse sweep off the occasional bowling of the opposition captain, which ended a growing partnership and started the rot which eventually saw Englanf fall agonisingly short in the run chase....

And completely rooted the confidence and performance of a nation on the world sporting stage for the next generation.

I think this pitch is pretty good to bowl on. Pretty even surface really. A good bowling performance could definitely defend 260
