WCC news

I understand why the Panthers don't want to play Wigan as it now is.
We lost at home to Saints, and we lost away to Wigan earlier in the year. There is something about the WCC that suits other NRL teams, but not us.
It should be bloody mandatory, the NRL are continually banging on about content and we have something unique, that can be marketed and will give the game a boost on the other side of the world (and we`ve seen some Pommy fans will travel) and we don`t make sure it happens. f**king madness.

Yes. Ridiculous that it is up to the individual clubs.

I'm sure Wigan would love the opportunity to add a sixth WCC star to their jersey. And I'd love to see them do it but I'm happy to see Penrith waving the white flag if it means Abdo is put in a position to help work out when the game can be played and not interfere with Vegas or internationals, and put it somewhere on the calendar where clubs have no excuse to not commit to the game.

I have advocated for a long time the game should be played in Singapore and chase the corporate dollar. Ok it won't be a big crowd watching the game, but Singapore has a lot of ex pats from both countries working there, and it's these and their companies we should be trying to tap into.
